Audience: Counselor

A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn.  Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. This relationship between attendance and achievement begins in early elementary.

Starting this month the S.R.M. PBIS team and Counseling Department want to reward students that have perfect attendance. Students that are at school every day and on time will be rewarded with free popcorn each month to celebrate their achievement.  We ask that you remind your child about all of the reasons school attendance is so important...the opportunity to learn, get good grades, make and keep friends, and POPCORN!!!
