Greetings SRM Parents and Students!

Come visit the art room (Portable 53) during conferences - Thursday and Friday (Oct. 26 and 27).

We'll be building, decorating, and bedazzling small stick pyramid shapes to add to our awesome, and eventually, very large SRM tetrahedron sculpture.

Enjoy some cookies, juice, and coffee!

Hope to see you here!

Susie Rayos Marmon Elementary Chess Club

Join us for some intellectual fun and spirited competition over the board playing one of the oldest “games” in the world! Chess is not just a game, it is a window to the mind and all of its far reaching potential! In the Susie Rayos Marmon Chess Club we will not only learn Chess, the “game,” we will also develop our mathematical and critical thinking, speaking and presentation skills, as well as cooperative learning skills through team work, collaboration and healthy competition.  Supporting each other in this club will create a community of ambitious Chess players with heart, kindness and strong minds! Using the Common Core as our guide to learning Chess with our friends, we will be focused on success and continual improvement in all areas of our learning. Who would have thought that Chess could be so cool for school?  Join us!
