Device calendar

The calendar schedule is attached to the carts for you to check what device each grade level will have each week.

The "Device schedule” is posted in the lounge’s board also.

~ Call xt.59844. (Please remember that if Janie is with a class, and I am not there, she will not answer the phone. Leave a message!).

~ Call 830-8080 Service Desk for problems with your email account and other intranet services account (access, not receiving messages, other errors)

~ Avoid just telling me your problem, because there is 90% chance I WILL FORGET about it!! So, make sure to write it down (email, text, form) or leave a message! J

mobile labs

Taking care of the devices and carts

PLEASE, make sure to return the devices to their correct spots in the mobile cart by the end of every day. Every computer has a number and a “home" in the cart. Also, make sure they are all plugged in, so they may charge overnight for usage the following day.

Make sure to plug in the cart power cord, which is the shorter one (if the cart has more than 1). The charging alternates between the top and bottom shelves, so you will only see one row lit up at a time.

Please avoid taking the power cord out the cart.

If you share the devices with all your grade level classes, please, fill out the sign out sheet informing:

  1. Device(s) number -ex: 1 to 10
  2. Staff/Room – ex: Daniela/X-Cal Lab
  3. Date taken – 08/03/2015

When you return the devices to the cart, add the following info:

  1. Report Problems – ex: could not find a specific app in device # 12
  2. Date returned  - ex – 08/07/2015



Username: ID number

Password: f (first initial) + l (last initial) + . (a period) + mmddyy (student birthday)


EX: Jane Doe, born on May 1, 2001

Password: jd.050101


Problems with students login?




School iPads

If you have a suggestion for a FREE App you think will be good for student use, send Daniela and email and we'll install it on all of our devices. Please, specify if it is best for Primary students, Intermediate students, or both.

All devices are now enrolled in AirWatch, which is a wireless way to manage the apps.

If apps are not loading properly, go to Settings < General < wi-fi and TURN WI-FI OFF (switch button to red) and back ON (switch button to green).

carts delivery and return

All Mobile labs MUST BE RETURNED to the X-Cal Lab for updates and upgrades EVERY Friday (or the last school day of the week, for shorter weeks). 

- Intermediate labs should be returned to the X-Cal Lab right before lunchtime.

- Primary labs should be returned as soon as the dismissal bell rings.

Please make sure to return them as soon as possible so we can work on them till 3:30pm Friday.

- Primary labs will be delivered to the grade chair classrooms Monday after lunch.

- Intermediate labs will be delivered to the grade chair classrooms Monday morning.
