Bus Service

Bus service will be furnished to students who qualify. Bus privileges may be revoked for students who do not obey bus safety rules. Parents will be advised of problems by means of 3 letters sent home with student or mailed home:

  • 1st Offense: A warning to the student with a report to the parent/guardian will be issued. It is expected the parent/guardian will work with the student to help prevent a recurrence.
  • 2nd Offense: Disciplinary action will be taken with the school administration. The student could be suspended from using the bus for up to one week.
  • 3rd Offense: The school will notify the parent that the child is permanently suspended from the bus for the remainder of the school year.
  • Severe Disruption: The following inappropriate and dangerous behavior will result in automatic suspension of transportation privileges:
    • Physical harm to other students, to the driver and/or bus assistance
    • Physical damage to the bus

Students MAY NOT ride a bus NOT ASSIGNED to their home address
